Velvet Crowe - redrawn Aquarelle colors

I think at this point I owe you all an explanation why I keep drawing the same young woman.
That's because Velvet Crowe is my muse right now.
I saw the cover art and initially I just shrugged it off as well - the cover of a game I was dying to play.

But once I had gotten to know her character, I suddenly thought very different about it.
Thenit became my destination.
This was my next goal I am working to achieve as an artist.

And so I keep drawing her, not trying to copy the image that inspired me, but trying to achieve the same feel of feathery lightness that reveals a well hidden side of Velvet.
I can't achieve that with digital art, just absolutely not how I use that medium, so this very box art is the reason I decided to return to traditional art in the first place after 2 years of pausing.
And it's the reason I switched to aquarelle colors over aquarelle pencils since I failed to achieve the effect with them alone.

and one more reason why I keep drawing her is because I keep getting amazing feedback on the art I submitted.
